The Lincoln Stars announced today that they have named Lori Crocker team president.
"Lori is kind, smart, ambitious, light-hearted, hard-working and remarkably efficient; she has a wonderful way of working alongside people rather than barking orders,” owner Ryan Schiff explained. "She leads by example and is what I like to call a ‘servant leader,’ someone who would never ask you to do something she has not already done or is not prepared to do herself.”
"Lori has been with us for one year as our director of business [operations] and this promotion is well-earned and a natural ascension of her duties,” Schiff continued. "Lori has done an amazing job of learning on-the-fly how to manage and operate our business within our culture. She took over in December of 2018 under extraordinarily difficult circumstances but has thrived in the role of rebuilding our culture, staff, operations and ultimately our entire business climate. I am so proud of Lori and her efforts and I look forward to working together for years to come.”
"It means so much to me that Ryan has faith in my abilities to take on this role,” Crocker said. "I feel very grateful to have an owner who appreciates and values his employees. Being noticed for a job well done is both gratifying and validating.”
"I absolutely love working for the Stars and I look forward to growing professionally and growing a successful team."
The Stars are back at home on Friday, February 7th as they take on their in-state rival: the Omaha Lancers. For tickets, click here!
