TRELOAR'S GOAL WITH 5:09 LEFT IN THE THIRD PERIOD COMPLETES COMEBACK

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars (7-2-2) scored four unanswered goals to complete a three-goal comeback against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (6-5-0) to win 4-3 on Friday night at the Ice Box.

Following a three-goal first period from the RoughRiders, Zach Urdahl answered with two goals in the second period separated by four minutes and eleven seconds.

Lincoln, who was outshot 7-6 in the opening frame, fired 19 shots on goal in the second and limited Cedar Rapids to three shots in the entire period.

Jake Boltmann's first USHL goal served as the equalizer 6:49 into the third period, knotting the game up at three. With under five and a half minutes to go in regulation, Mikhail Gonchar fired a shot on goal from the left circle, which was fought off by RoughRiders goaltender Derek Mullahy.

Chaos ensued as the puck was kept alive with a mass of Stars and RoughRider bodies swimming in the crease. Travis Treloar picked up the puck along the slot and fired it through a maze of players for his 5th goal of the season.

It sent the Ice Box into a frenzy and proved to be the game-winner as the Stars held on for their seventh win of the year. Lincoln outshot the RoughRiders 37-19 in the game and 31-12 in the last two periods.
