Tuesday, July 8, 2014 - Submitted by Lincoln Stars
The United States Hockey League has released the official 2014-2015 schedule for its 17 member teams. Beginning this season, the USHL welcomes the Madison Capitols and the Bloomington Thunder, while the Indiana Ice has been granted a year of dormancy to address facility issues in the Indianapolis area.
The Stars regular season schedule will again consist of 60 games, beginning September 26th at the Ice Box vs. the Tri City Storm. Due to unique scheduling circumstances, two games have been relocated to Lincoln from Chicago and Muskegon to give the Stars a total of 32 home dates.
“We’re pleased with the overall schedule and the fact that 27 of our 32 home dates will take place on either a Friday or Saturday night,” said Micki Buhrmann, Director of Ticket Operations. “Our annual Thanksgiving Eve game on Wednesday, November 26th only adds to a schedule that we’re excited to announce to our fans, Season Ticket Holders, and corporate sponsors.”
